We aim to make Bulawayo Connect readable, navigable and useful across devices and access needs.
Our approach
The site uses high contrast, large readable type, visible focus states, semantic headings and responsive layouts. Navigation and core actions should remain available without relying on colour or icon meaning alone.
Known limits
Third-party websites, maps and embedded services may not meet the same standard. Some older or contributed material may need further improvement.

Use Contact and name the page, device, browser, assistive technology and the action you were trying to complete. We will treat specific access problems as product defects.
Accessibility is part of the publishing standard
The site uses high-contrast colours, clear heading structure, readable type, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus behaviour and responsive layouts. Images should carry useful alternative text when they add information; decorative card images are hidden from assistive technology when the adjacent title already provides the destination.
We aim to write in direct language, avoid unnecessarily complex interfaces and keep essential information in text rather than inside images. External sites linked from Bulawayo Connect are controlled by their owners and may not meet the same standard.
Accessibility is never finished. If a page is difficult to navigate, zoom, read aloud, understand or operate without a mouse, send the page address, device or assistive technology used and a short description of the barrier.
We will prioritise fixes that block access to essential content or forms and document wider improvements as the platform grows.
