Be accurate
Separate what you know from what you believe. Provide sources for dates, addresses, fees, deadlines and serious claims.
Be respectful
Do not submit harassment, hate speech, threats, private information or attacks on people who cannot reasonably respond.
Be useful
Explain what something is, who it helps, why it matters and what the reader should do next. Promotional slogans without practical information are unlikely to be published.
Be specific, respectful and useful
Contributions should help readers understand Bulawayo, find a legitimate service, attend a public event, access an opportunity or connect with responsible local work. Promotional language may be edited into neutral, verifiable description.
Do not submit harassment, hate speech, threats, discriminatory material, deliberate misinformation, sexual exploitation, private personal information, scams or content that places another person at avoidable risk. Criticism is permitted when it is relevant and expressed responsibly.
Disclose a commercial, employment, family or organisational connection to the subject. Do not create false identities or repeated submissions to manufacture support.
Moderation decisions consider evidence, public value, safety and available editorial capacity. Content may be declined or removed, and serious abuse may be preserved and referred through an appropriate lawful process.
