Community organisations are not empty vehicles waiting for outside ideas. Each has its own responsibilities, relationships and priorities. Read the profile, follow the official source and make contact with a specific, realistic proposal.
Useful support may include attendance, volunteering through an agreed process, commissioned work, equipment, specialist mentoring or a direct contribution to an existing programme. Ask what is needed, how participants benefit and who will remain responsible after the initial enthusiasm has passed.
