Contribution forms collect the details you enter, including your email address, so the submission can be reviewed. Newsletter signups store the email address and signup time. Submissions are not automatically published.

Sharing and retention

Only collect what the service needs
The newsletter form collects an email address for subscription management. The contribution form collects the submitted listing information and a contact email so the proposal can be reviewed. Basic technical information may be processed by WordPress, hosting, security and delivery systems to operate and protect the site.
Do not submit sensitive or confidential information unless it is genuinely required and you have a lawful basis to provide it. Public listing details may be published after review; the contributor’s contact email is not published simply because it was used for verification.
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, records, security or legal obligations. Service providers may process data under their own lawful terms. The site does not sell the newsletter list.
You may request correction or deletion of personal information held by Bulawayo Connect, subject to lawful record-keeping and public-interest considerations. Identify the relevant form, page or email so the request can be located.
