Good partnerships
We are interested in projects with a clear public benefit, a responsible organisation and agreed editorial boundaries. Useful examples include verified data, cultural programmes, guides and access initiatives.
Independence
Partners do not control unrelated editorial work. Financial or in-kind support must be disclosed where it could affect how a reasonable reader understands the content.

Send the objective, proposed roles, timescale, audience, funding position and the person accountable for delivery.
Partnerships need a clear public benefit
Bulawayo Connect is open to partnerships around reliable city information, events, culture, enterprise, skills, heritage, community work and diaspora connection. The strongest proposal begins with a defined problem, audience, contribution and outcome.
Partners should state what they can provide, what they need from the platform, who owns the work, how costs are covered and how participants benefit. Projects involving children, vulnerable people, personal data or research require appropriate safeguarding, consent and governance.
Editorial independence remains in place. A partner cannot require hidden promotion, suppress an accurate correction or imply government affiliation. Sponsored activity is labelled.
Start with a short proposal rather than a finished campaign: purpose, timing, people involved, available resources and the practical next decision. This makes it easier to identify whether a conversation is worthwhile.
